The Indian Yahoo is as good as any other top Indian site, if not better!! Oh yeah, it does have lots of bollywood star wallpapers ;))
• MSN - From Microsoft, nice one, you can have your hotmail, passport, and msn messenger too. They also have a really good search engine. Best part? Indian edition is available, and it will show you live cricket score too. Cool na?
• Lycos- Pretty cool, another international giant. There's also Lycos Asia now to cater to the Asian nations.
• Excite - Really exciting and loads of information.
• Rediff - This arguably will the best Indian portal on the web. You can have news, views, astrology, shopping, chat, e-mail (in Indian languages as well) and even your free web-pages. Major information resort.
•  Indya - Another Indian fun site. Now taken over by STAR TV. They say - It happens only in India.
• 123India - Different name, similar stuff. Enjoyable though.
• India Times - More than news site, this indeed is a complete infotainment portal, a must visit one of course.
• Express India - A site by Indian Express group of publication. I really love it for its relevant and quality articles.
• Outlook India - Site from the weekly magazine Outlook. Gives good, sometimes unknown information and perspective about many things that we believe we know.
• India Nest - A pretty active and live site dealing with diverse interests. It includes current events, articles, literature, literary workshops, poetry and much more. Contributions from leading journalists from various parts of India. Reflects views and concerns of contemporary indian writers, professionals, citizens.
